Independence Association started as a tiny educational center in 1966. It was put together by just five families who wanted more for their children than they could get from the systems that existed at the time.
Our mission: To assist adults and children with disabilities in obtaining full and inclusive lives in their chosen communities.
Today
Independence Association works to open new doors, push boundaries and create opportunities that encourage inclusivity and equal opportunity while celebrating every individual's ability.
