Founded in 1883, Community Health and Counseling Services (CHCS) provides home health and mental health services to nearly 7,000 adults and children in thirteen locations throughout seven counties in mostly rural Southern, Central, Eastern, and Northern Maine. Current services include a wide array of home health, hospice, and behavioral health services for adults, including crisis care.
