Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park is a close nonprofit partner to the National Park Service that is dedicated to advancing ecosystem science and learning for all ages. The Institute is well known among Research Learning Centers for its innovative programs and partnerships, for its leadership as a national and community catalyst and center for research and learning, and as an emerging leader in the field of citizen science. Its work enriches the experiences of residents and visitors to the Acadia region and builds understanding and appreciation for the complexity and dynamism of the natural world. The Institute is based within Acadia National Park, where it manages the Schoodic Education and Research Center campus.
